I love buttery yellow, so when I saw the strapless bow detail top I clicked “save to wishlist” so fast. I am working on not buying clothes from SHEIN. Not necessarily trying to spend lots of money on clothing either, but wanting quality clothes I don’t have to replace every 4-7 months.
I bought the top, tried it on and fell in love. Was I expecting a liner to make this a bra-free shirt? Yep, but it’s not. Something else to note was that the bow was detached at the corner.
Luckily, the seamstress at Nordstrom saw that it was delivered that day and felt bad it didn’t come in mint condition. She sewed it on for me. Bad news, it came off again just a month later.
I’ll be honest, that sort of turned me off from the ASTR The Label. I still love the shirt but hope I don’t run into these issues with other clothes if I intend on shopping their brand more in the future.
Overall, I’ll give the shirt a 3/5 stars. Now if the shirt was on sale, I’d be a bit more happy.
