innis free sunscreen for black girls and brown girls

Innisfree Sunscreen Review: A 10/10 for Brown Skin Girls

Now, let’s talk about makeup, because finding a sunscreen that works under foundation is a whole different challenge.

There’s nothing worse than putting together a makeup look, blending your foundation perfectly, and then watching everything start to pill, separate, or look patchy because your skincare products aren’t cooperating.

Fortunately, I’ve had a great experience wearing Innisfree sunscreen underneath my Too Faced liquid foundation. The sunscreen melts into my skin without creating the kind of noticeable layer that interferes with my base makeup.

My Too Faced foundation applies well over it, which is exactly what I want from an everyday sunscreen. I don’t want to sacrifice my makeup routine just to make room for sun protection, and I shouldn’t have to.

Whether I’m getting ready for work, running errands, or putting together a full face, having a sunscreen that works with my foundation makes the entire process easier.

Of course, everyone’s skin and makeup products are different, so your results may vary. I recommend allowing your sunscreen to settle before applying foundation to help create a smoother base.

Is Innisfree Sunscreen Worth It?

For me, absolutely. The combination of a no-white-cast finish on my skin, an application that melts seamlessly into my complexion, and compatibility with my Too Faced liquid foundation makes this sunscreen a standout in my routine.

I especially appreciate that I don’t have to choose between wearing sunscreen and having my makeup look good. Both can coexist, and Innisfree makes that feel effortless.

If you’ve been searching for a sunscreen that doesn’t leave your brown skin looking ashy or interfere with your everyday makeup, I’d definitely recommend considering Innisfree.

Remember that sunscreen performance depends on the specific formula, how much you apply, and how often you reapply. Use a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher, apply it generously as directed, and reapply at least every two hours when outdoors, as well as after swimming or sweating.

Final Verdict: 10/10

Innisfree sunscreen gets a 10/10 from me. No noticeable white cast on my skin, a formula that melts into my complexion, and a finish that works beautifully with my Too Faced liquid foundation? That’s the kind of skincare product I can get behind.

Brown skin girls deserve sunscreen that protects our skin without making us fight with our complexion or our makeup. And when you find one that fits seamlessly into your routine, you appreciate it even more.

Would I recommend Innisfree sunscreen? Yes! If you’re looking for an everyday SPF that works well for you and layers nicely under makeup, this one is worth checking out.

Because sunscreen is skincare, and skincare should work for your skin.
