I finally gave in and ordered the Amazon version of the iconic red zebra halter top after missing out on the original Princess Polly Cielo Mesh Halter Top. The Princess Polly top is the exact one Nikki wears in Obsession, and it’s become so popular that it keeps selling out almost immediately whenever it restocks. The original features a mesh zebra print, ruched detailing, a buckle accent, and an adjustable halter design, making it one of the movie’s most recognizable fashion pieces.
Since I couldn’t get my size, I decided to try a dupe instead. The Amazon version has a very similar silhouette, print, and overall look, so I’m hoping it captures the same vibe without having to wait for another unpredictable restock.

I’m actually pretty optimistic about it because the brand behind this dupe already has a good reputation for recreating trendy, viral pieces. I’ve seen people recommend their versions of popular styles before, and they generally seem to do a solid job balancing affordability with a look that’s very close to the original. If the fit and quality are decent, it’ll be a great alternative—especially considering the Princess Polly top has been so difficult to buy in the right size. Between the constant sellouts and the demand from fans trying to recreate Nikki’s look, having a well-made dupe feels like the next best option.

If Princess Polly eventually restocks in my size, I’d still love to compare the two, but for now this seems like the perfect way to get the look without waiting indefinitely.
