So, right now we’re getting into sweater weather. I got this adorable sweater from NVLT and I’m obsessed, not to sound basic. When I was scrolling through the Nordstrom Rack app, I had a couple intentions: shop for clothes for the fall and winter but also for items I don’t find super trendy but that I’ll still find cute a few years from now.
A gray sweater checks all the boxes, but what stood out is the denim collar. How neat is that!? I love it. How I plan to style this sweater is pretty simple: with jeans, a denim skirt, or even with a pleated miniskort. I have a Miu Miu dupe, and it would pair great with the sweater. I’m glad I can style it with so many things already in my closet.
The second thing I bought was a layered sweater vest from Open Edit. It was $15. Not bad at all! I love this brand by Nordstrom. I have a great pair of nude heels from the brand and find them quite comfy. Open Edit is known for being affordable but still true to the quality of many brands you’ll find in Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack.
I plan to style this sweater with jeans or a variety of skirts, including a faux leather skirt or a denim skort. If cold enough, I can wear some cute tights but otherwise, as long as it’s not under 65 degrees, I should be fine to show a little leg! Kitten heels or chunky boots would look perfect.
I do find that scrolling the app here and there is worth it, along with stopping by in store. I normally do pick up orders and then browse while I’m there just to make sure I didn’t miss anything online! Sometimes, you’ll find some gems browsing the dress racks and shoe aisles in store. I found a beautiful Vince Camuto dress last year in store!
If you’re on a budget and want to show discounted designer, Nordstrom Rack is a great option.

Nordstrom Rack Returns
Returns are easy. I ordered a Princess Polly shirt that was way too tight and returned it with no problems! I just showed the barcode and had the item ready in new condition.

Nordstrom allows many of its regular store or Nordstrom.com purchases to be returned at Nordstrom Rack locations (and vice-versa). Returned items must meet standard return conditions (e.g., within the return window, unworn, with tags).

Gift cards specifically marked for Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack can be used at both stores and online.
